Support groups provide a comfortable and safe environment where you can share your feelings and thoughts on a particular life experience. The Memorial Hospital and other community health care facilities sponsor a variety of support groups.
Diabetes Support Group
When: Meets at 7pm on the 4th Thursday of every other month: Jan., March, May, July, Sept., Nov. in the lobby of MWV Healthcare Associates at the Memorial Hospital.
For diabetics and their support people. An opportunity for education and discussion with other people who have diabetes or are dealing with it in the family. For more information, call the Diabetes Center at MWV Healthcare Associates, (603) 356-0796.
Journey of Hope
When: Meets the 1st Tuesday of every month, from 7 - 8:00pm, in the Sun Room.
For those with cancer and their support people. Information, education, speakers and encouragement in a supportive environment.

Caregivers of those with Alzheimer's or Related Disorders
When: Meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, from 1:30 - 3PM at the Merriman House.
Offers education, support and coping skills for caregivers. Care is available for the family member while the caregiver attends the meeting. For more information, click here or call the Merriman House, (603) 356-5461, Ext. 183.
Breastfeeding Support Group
When: Every Wednesday of every month, 10AM
A weekly support group for mothers who are breastfeeding. Sponsored by the Memorial Hospital's Family Birthing Center and facilitated by breastfeeding peer counselors and certified lactation specialists. All breastfeeding women, regardless of where they gave birth, are invited; babies and siblings welcome. Meets in the Birthing Center’s family room. For more info: 356-5461, Ext. 146.
